Happy New Year!!! As I listen to the “We Are One” Concert these new days feel very hopeful!!!!
We are having three scheduled workshops. The first being presented by Mona and Michael Brown. The next two will be presented by Ken Robinson.
Jan. 29th, Thursday, 5:30-7:30. Mona and Michael invite you to join them as they present “From Fear to Sacred Abundance.”
They will be discussing how to “change” your perspective in a “changing” world to see the possibilities of a new focus of life from the inside out. Fear typically blocks the creative process, disallowing the free-flow of Divine Universal Truth within us all.
This class will help you see old patterns of belief to the Insights in our world and within us today, and to recognize how we can make a difference..just by understanding that a deeper more fulfilling llife awaits us!! They call this “Sacred Sight.”
Suggested offering $20.

HOLIDAY SHOPPING
I suppose I cannot send out a December newsletter without mentioning the shopping season that has descended upon us (and so quickly!). Being a bookstore, we are of course well stocked up on books of all kinds. But we also have other gift items, including a lot of toys from Melissa & Doug, a great selection of beautiful journals, plush kid backpacks, and a new shipment of Ugly Dolls. Note to parents of Ugly Doll fans . . . we will not get another shipment in before Christmas, so if you’re looking for Uglies to give as gifts come by soon for the best selection! These have been outrageously popular with kids from 5 to 15. The sale table is still filled, so there’s plenty of opportunity to grab some gifts at a great price. Also . . . gift wrap is complimentary (we have Christmas and Hanukkah paper), as is the coffee through the month of December! Come on in and browse, enjoy a hot beverage, and let us do the wrapping for you.
BOOK CLUB
Open to all! Join us on MONDAY, JANUARY 12, at 6:30 p.m. when we discuss our December pick, HANNAH’S DREAM by Diane Hammond. Hammond is a local author and has been kind enough to agree to join us for the discussion! If you haven’t picked up the book yet, there’s still plenty of time . . . and as our book club pick, it’s 15% off in December. I can guarantee you’ll be hearing a lot about this book in the months to come, so the time to read it is now!
